Motorola (MSI) Q2 EPS Jumps 10%

Motorola Solutions (NYSE:MSI), a leader in mission-critical communications and security solutions for public safety and enterprises, announced its Q2 2025 results on August 7, 2025. The company beat expectations, delivering non-GAAP earnings per share of $3.57, outpacing the analyst consensus of $3.35 (non-GAAP). The quarter set a record for both revenue and earnings, driven by ongoing strength in its Software and Services segment, as well as disciplined cost and supply chain management. While the company raised its full-year 2025 non-GAAP outlook, the period highlighted flat performance in Products and Systems Integration and a considerable drop in that segment’s backlog, signaling evolving dynamics within the business.
