....Ausgerechnet McDonald's Börsen-Chart zeigen, die größte Burgerkette der Welt, hat diesen Short Squeeze offenbar ausgelöst und gibt Beyond Meat wieder Hoffnung. Für Auftrieb hatte zuletzt gesorgt, dass McDonald's vegane Beyond-Meat-Burger künftig in 52 kanadischen Filialen anbieten will und damit in fast doppelt so vielen wie bislang. Dies ist immer noch eine überschaubare Zahl, reicht offenbar aber als Impuls, um an eine Erholung zu glauben. 

Beyond Meat hatten auch deshalb wieder zugelegt, weil der Konkurrent Impossible Foods seine Verhandlungen mit McDonald´s kürzlich beendet hatte. Das Unternehmen hatte der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters mitgeteilt, McDonalds nicht in ausreichender Menge mit seiner Fleisch-Alternative beliefern zu können. ....
